GARDEN ANGELS

A project where the team go to others gardens that have become overgrown, to clear and tidy them, so the garden can be enjoyed by the home owner. We have previously worked in schools and care home gardens. This is an extremely rewarding way to volunteer your time and you’ll get a huge sense of satisfaction once the work is completed.

The sessions take place on Wednesdays & Fridays and you will be contacted by the team leader as and when the work is required. No gardening experience is needed to become a Garden Angel, just a willingness to get stuck in to help create a beautiful space for others.

Our Wellbeing Gardens are - A Place to Be

Our weekly sessions are relaxed and informal. Together we set tasks for everyone to do. We aim to make the sessions fun and as interactive as you want. Each session is approx 2-3 hours but you don’t have to stay for the whole session if you don’t want to.

Our Wellbeing Gardens are in Lowestoft and Southwold, with sessions on Mondays AM & PM.

An initial one-to-one will be held with the project co-ordinator Claire to ensure this project is right for you. No previous experience is required to join, just the ability and desire to help cultivate the gardens.

We can also provide small growing spaces for Women who'd like to see if they've got green fingers or not. Growing 'stuff' is great fun and can be so rewarding, so why not give it a go, you cant do anything wrong - honestly you can't.  We are here to work with you at your own pace, so that's how we know you can't get it wrong!
